Group opinion trajectories: Difference between revisions

There are three options for the trajectory of any group opinion:

  1. Consensus formation is ideal for important and weighty issues.
  2. Clustering is normal for trivial topics.
  3. Bi-polarisation (~50-50) can happen when an attempt to create a consensus is unsuccessful.
