There can be many reasons as to why you may want to rewrite your past. Sometimes you go through a big life event and you reconsider how you thought about your childhood and/or teenage years. It can be healthy to reflect and reconsider what you remember about your past but it can easily drift into self-harm. The world is broken. Most people leave it with bruises and scars. The Bible is clear that we’re broken and deeply in need of forgiveness and God’s restoration. The Bible tells us life is a spiritual journey that never ends for those who find Christ. God wants us to live each day dependent on him.
